The starting point of a long experiment for my ‘Adornment’ project.. going down the route of  ‘Surface Design’

Experiments for ways to present my Artist Book… trapping things that remind me of a time in my life, for example a holiday (Portugal 2008)

My final product at the end of the ‘ReInvent’ project… the task was to buy a garment from a charity shop and reinvent it into something new! So from a blouse to a bag… I was pretty pleased with the outcome! :D xx

Me painting my version of a section of the ‘Red Canna’ by Georgia O’Keefe on my bedroom wall. It is sized at 1metre and a half by the same again.

Inspiration for Textiles First Assignment; ‘Object’

A photograph taken of an experiment I produced using some thin, slightly patterned, orange material and some ACTUAL orange netting bags,  which has then been stitched together by using a sewing machine and black and white cotton.

photograph taken of another sample I have recently created for my Textiles Assignment, ‘Reinvent’ using a weaving some orange ‘bobbly’ yarns around a metal frame and then merging it into some paper pulp – the medium to make your own paper. (soaking paper in some warm water and blending it with a kitchen blender which makes the ‘pulp’ solution).
